Overview

At last, there is a way to transform and rejuvenate the skin quickly, safely, and effectively— and it’s called Thermage. Inland Empire board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Childers and Sheer Beauty professionals offer this innovative treatment to patients looking to address lines and wrinkles on the face, and smooth and tighten skin on the face and body. Thermage uses radio frequency that penetrates into the deepest layers of the skin to initiate collagen for firmer, younger looking skin. With Comfort Pulse Technology and cooling effects, the patient is comfortable and protected from burns. No anesthesia is required and a session usually lasts less than an hour, so you can be up and resume normal activities in no time at all.

What to Expect

A Thermage procedure takes from 45 – 90 minutes, depending on the treatment area. The technology sends radiofrequency energy into the skin to penetrate deeper layers to smooth and tighten skin. There is minimal discomfort associated with a treatment and some patients may experience a slight heating sensation. Some patients may experience temporary redness after treatment, but there’s no downtime. Visible results can be seen after just 1 treatment and the treated area can continue to improve in its look and contouring for up to 6 months. Results from Thermage can last several years.
